I have learned that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.

My father has always been a very strong figure in my life, from watching him work as an 8 year old girl to being happy about the relationship he and my mother enjoyed for more than 35 years. I honestly feel that my relationship with him as his daugther, helped me to be the strong woman I developed into. My very first crush was on my father and his guidance and support throughout the years has truly helped me in seeking out strong and equally supportive men, one of who I now call my husband.

I wish I had never heard of Perserving Sentiments because it would mean potentially that my mother was still here. That she was still living. But I''''m glad she loved me enough to care for me even after she passed. I started receiving a letter from her a year ago, 6 months after her passing and on my 16th birthday.
It was a surprise but Preserving Sentiemnts prepared the letter and delivery in such a way that I was able to under stand it was from my mother and that she had written it a year before her passing specifically because she loved me so much.

I started writing letters to my daugther while on business filghts to Europe. The oldest was 4 months at the time and the thought of spending 2 weeks away from her made me wonder who would raise her and offer the fatherly guidance if I was to never return? This was about 1 year following 911 and the vulnerability and uneasy feelings associated with travel were still running high. How would she know how important she was to me?
